Draconian Guppy
Woe, Is Me. Another stand-out song is .Fame over demise is bit to "growly" for me, I prefer "cleaner2 screamiing, but let me listen to delinquents. Parkway Drive. Another song you might like from them is .In Fear and Faith. Another popular song by them is .Let me know if these are your style and I'll post some more! In fear and faith! Yes! Clean vocals and screaming! However... The song was going well until they used AUTo-tuning for the clean vocal, i was like :|
trag3dy
In Fear and Faith sound a bit like Blessthefall, or vice versa: I don't care for the video though. I gotta wonder if they purposefully keep showing the camera men.
Code.Red
In fear and faith! Yes! Clean vocals and screaming! However... The song was going well until they used AUTo-tuning for the clean vocal, i was like :| Ah yes, the video I linked is from their first EP, however they also released this song on their first album Your World on Fire, and they don't use such obvious autotuning in that part. If you like that song, you should like that whole album. Here's a few more: Dance Gavin Dance. They are a bit different. Another: . A Day to Remember. They are a bit more pop punk, with songs like Have Faith in Me. Settle the Sky. A Skylit Drive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVwKfUnWrf4 And here's one of their older songs: Drown the City. DoorFace
thank GOD someone else knows about beloved!!! beloved are among my favorite bands. and what's with this? no thrice? THRICE??? check out thrice. don't go passed their vheissu album; they turn into some pop genre. the earliest album, identity crisis, has a hardcore/punk sound (well organized punk, in the least; not crazy clatter), but still remains very well focused on melody (as with about all their albums); illusion of safety strives away from the punk, but keeps the perfect balance--about my favorite of all their work; the artist of the ambulance is very well directed and seems to be the "people's favorite;" and vheissu stands as their main focus on melody, and the farthest from punk, but they don't eliminate their hard screams/yells which is respectful. i highly recommend beloved and thrice; they have songs that you WILL become addicted to. thrice: illusion of safety deadbolt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tghjkKiSCz4 to awake and avenge the dead (the real recording is over the bogus video. don't watch; listen.) trag3dy
I always thought Thrice to be more punk than anything else. Probably wrong to think that but there you go.
DoorFace
I always thought Thrice to be more punk than anything else. Probably wrong to think that but there you go. yeah, see that's sort of what i was talking about: thrice started with a heavily influenced punk sound above hardcore in their first albums; however, they only really only kept the drum and pace of punk (which grabbed my attention). thrice separated themselves from punk by itself, adding great guitar pieces and organized vocals (singing, yelling, and screaming). people tend to like the albums following the first (identity crisis) and those stopping before their fifth (vheissu; their third album being an ep called if we could only see us now) where their genre veers off from the punk more and more then glides into more melodic sounds before the dramatic pop conversion; right in between has an amazing sound. you should check it out, i honestly haven't found a single person who doesn't at least like one album; even people who dislike guitar music in general have given thrice an exception.
