iPad 2 and Exchange folders

Recommended Posts

We have a few Admin's with folders in their email/exchange. On their desktop they have managed the folders/emails and put them into a folder. On their iPad's, they push exchange to their devices. The folders that they have in their Outlook on the desktop show up. But the folders are empty.

I've tried to search for a fix or answers, but haven't found anything that works. There's supposed to be an option in the mail settings that allows you to choose which folders get "pushed" but there's no such option.

Does anyone else know if this issue and if there's an easy solution?

Settings -> Mail -> Choose the Account -> Mail Folders to Push

All I see in the account is:

Account:

Mail ON

Contacts ON

Calendars ON

Mail Days to Sync NO LIMIT

DELETE ACCOUNT

Hmmn... Odd. What version of Exchange are you connecting to? Wondering if it might make a difference?

We are using Exchange 2010... lol.

Ah... That is odd then. Hosed the account and re-added it? Any funky mobile device policies set on the CAS server?

I've removed my account, and re-entered it and still the same thing.

I know my Exchange won't sync with mobile devices(policy) but the Admin's all have emails coming and going no issue. My Boss doesn't have issues either but doesn't have that option to choose folders to sync :s

Very weird then. There's nothing in the ActiveSync Policies to really limit this functionality (AFAIK). Do you have access to the server running the CAS role? Would be interesting to see a separate test policy with no real restrictions applied to see if that makes any difference?

I don't have access to that server sadly. I can mention it to my boss and see what he says about it.
