Windows has already reached saturation in the market. The real question is what will XP users do when they finally buy a new PC? Will they buy Windows 8 or go Mac?

Wait, who's ass? Linux? I wouldn't expect much more "growth" from Windows, but I guess as long as they keep shipping millions of copies of each version of Windows they'll be ok :)

The key with Windows isn't growth but maintaining their empire. But the Apple Stores are really the crown jewel of Apple's empire. You just go into one and you feel so cool and hip.

I'm actually bored win OS X, I don't find it innovative anymore. Lion doesn't do anything for me I'm more interested in what Windows 7 has and 8 will be bringing.

OS X is slick, cool & hip. It just works and has all the cool apps like "Garage Band" and "Mission Control".

If it just works, why did it need multiple DP releases and future point releases? If it just works, why have they kept making tweaks to Launchpad and Mission Control?

Those are tweaks to make it even more insanely great. If they left OS X as is, it's already perfect.

I wouldn't go that far. For example, OS X needs some work to be done in order to secure it. As is, it's not perfect.

Do you really honestly believe any software is perfect as is? I sure don't.

Mac OS X is not perfect. Never has been, never will be.

I don't think anyone suggested Windows was perfect, either.

I use both and like both. There are things I need Mac OS X for and things I need Win7 for. Both have their pros and cons.
