ccoltmanm
I have an old iPhone 3G. I currently have a iPhone 4 w/ a contract via AT&T. My question is, can I unlock my 3G (I know I can) and use it with another company? I know that I am able to do this, but how do I got about doing it? I'm thinking of letting my girlfriend use the 3G. I've searched online, but all the rumors of a non-contract iPhone are making it hard to find good information.

You are going to need to jailbreak it and then install an unlock app. I am out of touch with the unlock scene, but you can do more research on www.redmondpie.com.
