I recently went to The Wickerman Festival in South Scotland, I was only there for the day, rather than the whole weekend, but I was lucky enough to get an access all areas pass from a friend. So I used it as my chance to get into the photographers bay for some of the artists. Unfortunately I didnt have it for all day, so I only got in for The Coral and Feeder. The stewards then hoofed us all out after the second song for Feeder, I was quite gutted! Anyway, this was my first attempt at gig photography, and also apart from maybe a couple of shots in the past, night photography. So i'm really pleased how some of them have come out.

Anyway. Pictures!!!!

Oil on Canvas - A brilliant little group with a Cockney guy and a spanish bloke. They were in the Sochill Circle.

GUN - Played the ever brilliant Word Up.

Twin Atlantic - One of my favourite bands. They made a surprise announcement they would be playing on thursday, so I was over the moon.

(There are another 89 of Twin Atlantic on my flickr!)

The Coral - These guys were a bit **** to be honest. Not stage presence at all, I gave up after a wee while. On the plus side I got into the Photographers Bay for these guys.

And finally, Feeder. I only got in the bay for the first two songs then we were kicked out into the crowd. At which point I raved away having the time of my life.

Sorry for the long post, but I thought I'd just share the amount of fun I had. I'm going to go all out to try and secure a photographers pass for next year. :)

Healthy bump... The only band I know here is The Coral, who from since 2006 went down hill.
