Hamiltons Mandel Trilogy, which should count as cyberpunk. except for those and I think Neuromancer(I think I read it) I don't think I've read much cyberpunk despite being a fan, mostly more SciFi stuff. Big Shadowrun fan though, even though I have no one to game with :) oh yeah, the NetForce books by Tom Clancy, including the netForce explorers. not quite cyberpunk but sort of. been a while since I read them though. and I prefer SnowCrash and Mandel way above them but Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I highly recommend finding the time to read it. Another book that I thought was good was The Diamond Age also by Neal Stephenson. Sranshaft Posted August 8, 2011 Share Posted August 8, 2011 Another big fan of William Gibson here. I've been hooked since I read Neuromancer way back when and haven't looked back. Idoru was absolutely fantastic and would make for great movie. He is a true genius when it comes to blending the here and now with the future into a place that is completely familiar and at the same time fantastical. I'd also suggest looking at Tom Cool's Secret Realms. War-simulation / virtual reality meets science-fiction with cyberpunk-ish overtones. Not a bad read at all. Though personally his last three books, aren't as good [imo]. With regards Neal Stephenson - start off with something like, like Snow Crash, then if you like it, move onto his other books.
