Thoughts on Logo i made

Recommended Posts

I made a logo for a company that makes water purification products...thoughts? Never made one for something not tech related before, and to be honest i've not really done a lot of logos.

A few points:

* It suggests nothing to me. It looks like a blue bee. Is that the desired look? It doesn't tell me what the company does.

* Have you considered how this is to be used? Is it to be printed full-colour all the time? If not, then have you provided a monochrome equivalent? And by that I DO NOT mean simply desaturising it.

* The colouring looks very washed out, is this intentional?

* Has it been designed a a vector, does it scale?

* Where is it to be used, does it fit into suitable areas, such as a business card, a banner, a website?

its meant to be an angel :pinch:

to my knowledge its just for a website

the color is very light because i felt darker colours wouldn't be 'fitting'.

thank you for your suggestions, i may go back and make some changes :)

At first glance it looks like an insect, and first impressions are important :p

Also not sure it's a good idea tagging it to religion at all.

Now you say it, I can see it, but........ Hmmm, I'm not sure you have conveyed this. And why an angel? Purification = angelic? I think it's a little bit of a stretch...

I would check. I would very much ask how the logo is to be used and where.

Is the site already built and you are replacing a logo? I'm nut suggesting "dark" colours, but maybe more vibrant?

Hope some of this helps :)

LOL, the black is simply an alternative if needed - I tend to make logo's able to be expressed in monochrome as well as their full-colour counterpart. Old habbits die hard.
