how to start windows after formating ubuntu ?

before , i have dual operating sytem in my laptop . One is windows 7 and ubuntu . So , after then i decided to delete ubuntu .. so i followed this steps http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-safely-uninstall-ubuntu-in-windows-dual-boot-environment/ .. This process worked fine in my friends laptop my in mine .. it is giving some problem . Now i'm unable to start my laptop . When i run

  • bootrec /fixmbr
  • bootrec /fixboot

commands , it is saying .. that it unable to recognize it .. please help

where are you trying to run those commands from? You need to be in the Windows Recovery Environment, ie you booted from windows 7 media? and then got to a command line?

I assure you those command are available once you boot from the correct media.

What media are you booting from?

Something you created yourself? Downloaded, or retail media??

Here, check your path - file is there! If its not then your not booting legit media??? Or some some flavor of windows that does not have the recovery environment?
