XWidget is a free desktop customization platform. It’s light, handy with powerful visual widget editor and very subtle animations.

Great work so far! It uses less resources running what seems to be more than my current Rainmeter setup. Allows for easy editing of widgets that I guess I'll mess with later.

Right now, it seems that the only thing it lacks is custom widgets.

Thanks for your feed back. In fact, XWidget more like the Rainmeter but include more powerfull Visual Skin Editor. I very much look forward to more custom widget.

Installed, downloaded several widgets.

Working brilliant very impressed.

This has the potential to kick all the other similar products out the window. Amazing work.

Installed and very impressed - this has great potential as long as you build a good userbase inc some third party developers who are willing to create some cool widgets.

Really nice work!

I add a dashboard weather widget.

Double-click it to collapse or expand.
Click the "i" button to the bottom-right corner to 3D Flip to the back to input city name.

Woow, this is sooo cool. I like everything about this. I can edit widget easily to suite personal taste. That's not all, it is also very low on resource. I think making widget will not be that hard if we take a look at the ready made. I hope you keep updating this.

Thanks xwidget :)

By the way, I don't see the MetroUI in the download section. Where can I get it?

It try to connect to 12.120.18.205 and Im not sure if thats the apple.accuweather.com or something else. Looks nice, tho, and is lightweight, thats the main reason because I like it.
