Scan to Email solution?

Hey there!

I am looking for the scan to email solution for my department at the company wher I work, where I can simply put a piece of paper into the scanner, type a recepient email address and send it without any kind of computer.

We have the AXIS 70U Network document server connected to the HP scanner (http://www.axis.com/products/axis_70u/), but sadly they no longer sell them.

So maybe anyone know any kind of hardware that has similar features?

- Should work without computer

- It has to be a LAN based (no wi-fi)

- Multifunctional device is not a solution

- CloudBased services is not a solution too.

If you have any ideas or used some kind of this hardware before, please let me know.

Confused at this statement -- most any network scanner would support this feature. Same goes for any modern copier/printer

We have a Xerox WorkCentre 7346 here, and if I need to scan something just put in my email and get as either a pdf or jpg, etc. You can choose what you want. Or you can scan it to a folder and pick it up there, it prints/copies, etc. etc.

So why is that not a solution to your problem?
