thealexweb
A few weeks ago I bought an iPad off one of my friends, he had a developers account and had put the iOS5 Beta 9 on it, I didn't have a developers account, I was able to use it just fine till today when I tried to turn it on, it says it needs to be activated but won't because it's not registered as part of the iPhone developer program, when I plug it in to my computer and open iTunes it says the software has expired and needs updating, so I click check for updates but it doesn't find any :-/ I tried download the update manually and using the shift click on the check for update but that didn't work either. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
evoman91
If you want a backup of your device then the first thing you should do, if you can, is right click on the device and choose backup. Did you try shift clicking restore instead of update?
