... Apple launched the first iPod. I know, it wasn't the first hard drive based mp3 player. The first iPod would only connect with Macs via FireWire. And yet it was the start of a major paradigm shift towards digital music distribution.

... boy, did he ever underestimate the impact the device would have.

Indeed, shame the video is incorrect though, it doesn't take 5 hours to copy 5gb over USB, it takes funnily enough about 10 minutes.

we're talking usb 1.1 here, not usb 2.0. even so, should only take just over 1 hour theoretically....
