Samsung Mobiles - Uninstall Samsung Apps?

This may be a silly question.

If I got a Samsung mobile, if I root it using something like unrevoked, will this then open up the option to un-install some of the standard samsung apps and other such things that I will never use?

it doesn't work that way. When you root it you are allowed to edit the system partition which then in effect allows you to delete the offending APK. Some stuff is however baked into the framework which can't be removed (obviously).

But to the main questions - yes that's what root allows.

Once you root it, you can use apps like titanium backup to remove whatever samsung program or other preinstalled crapware that comes with the phone.
