firey Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 so download Clockwork Mod, and install the CWM Recovery from inside Clock Work mod. Detection Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 ^^ Yup, first you need to flash ClockWorkMod, then enter recovery and tell it to flash "a zip from the SDCard", - Not update.zip make sure the kernel is on the SDCard and flash it that way. AJerman Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 1. Download ROM Manager from market 2. With ROM Manager, install CWM 3. Put new kernel (in zip) onto your phone (SD, or preferably internal storage, not sure what that phone uses, SD will need to be mounted in CWM probably if you use that) 4.
