Beejive for Live Messenger - alternative to official WLM app

I've been using the official WLM app with some frustration. Sometimes the app would crash without warning. The recent Retina "update" did update a few resources to a larger resolution but it felt half-assed as your name is still pixellated! Also the background messaging was a bit unpredictable, sometimes signing you out without warning. And finally, the biggest annoyance of them all: the alerts don't work properly! The labels read "PN_NEW_IM" or "PN_BUTTON".

Anyways, this free version of Beejive fixes all these problems. It's designed just for those people interested in signing into one Windows Live Messenger account. Why this over other messengers?

• If you linked your Facebook account to your WLM account, it won't trigger a new status update if it reads something like "On my iPhone" while you're on your device. eBuddy (Pro) did that and it was annoying.
  
• Up to 7 days of keeping your session in the background.
  
• Somewhat native-ish UI.
  
• Supports file transfers, sending voice clips, photos, your location, etc.
  
• MPOP (multiple points of presence) support is about on par with the official client.
  
• Fast and solid. Much more responsive and stable than Windows Live Messenger by far.
  

The only downside is you cannot connect to your Facebook account. You can use the Facebook for that anyway. It's also supported by ads, but I have yet to see one. :ermm:
