Cat spends 3 days on top of cactus

SAGUARO LAKE, AZ - It's not the typical cat stuck in a tree story.

The feline apparently became stuck on top of a cactus in a desert area near Saguaro Lake.

Air15 showed the black cat with white markings perched on top of the 30 to 40 foot Saguaro cactus, mostly crouched on top but at times standing up, perhaps trying to decide whether to make its escape.

A witness said he'd first seen the cat there three days ago.

As Air15 flew overhead, the cat slowly started to climb down the side of the cactus, turned around and backed its way down until near the bottom where it made its final leap head first.

It was then seen wandering around the area before Air15 left the scene.

One of its nine lives saved!

People assume cats are stuck, but 99% of the time if a cat wants to move or get down from somewhere it will when it wants to. They are amazingly agile and are tremendous climbers.
