Im having some trouble with my box and i just wanted to rule out the Overclock settings Im using at the moment. Im an amauter with this kind of thing built it 2yrs back first build and I screwed up a few times and let the chip fry for months with the temperatures I left it at. looking to tweak to the tiny voltages or fix them if i bugered up Core i7 920 DO Board Asus p6t deluxe v2 corsair Doms 1600mhz ddr3 thermalright Ultra with fan Bios Ai Overclock - manual Trubomode - disabled BCLK - 167 DDR3 - 1339mhz CPU voltage 1.16250 QPI PLL 1.84 QPI/DRAM 1.20000 IOH 1.10 IOH PCIE Auto IHC 1.10 IHC PCIE Auto DRAM Bus 1.60 LoadLine Cal - disabled Dram timings 8 - 8 - 8 - 24 Everything els Auto if you could also reccomend a decent case i got ripped off with the one i bought, obviously needs to house the giant thermalright. Im going to format system before i revert the overclock but like say in the early days i heavily hammered the chip so i worry but i always assumed a burnt chip would result in total system failure.
