Ebay problem

I have a problem with ebay or paypal... on November 5th i bought an ipad new in ebay, in the add the seller was selling inside EU and it quickly run out of stock besides it had to be paid in that time. The feedback was around 52 positive no negative ones, until after a few hours it appears 1 negative feedback saying it was a scam. Next day all the untis are sold and there's another negative feedback saying that it's a chinese hacker and it's a fraud. So i contact the seller to ask him about the item and that feedback but by some reason Ebay removed the list and paypal place the payment on hold for suspicions of conduct violation by the seller. Then i got an email in my inbox from a person saying he is the seller and he doesn't know why it got his selling suspended, besides he was out of stock and i could expect the item in 10 to 15 days. Since then i sent an email every day asking if i would get the item before November 25th which he didn't reply.

Meanwhile he replied on November 11th to the paypal question and the transaction changed from hold to being previsioned by a paypal agent.

Today i got a package from China, it was a coin bag or mobile bag empty and listed as a gift and i made a claim in paypal.

I'm from Portugal and never had to deal with such weird thing, can i expect to receive the item i bought or a refund?

Keep up your dispute and let eBay know that the listing fraudulently stated where the item would be shipped from and you got nothing even remotely comparable to the listing in the item.

I wouldn't count on receiving the iPad. You should be able to get your money back fairly quickly.

Dispute the transaction all the way and get your money back as soon as possible. You will not be getting the iPad.
