Yea very nice at last steam lances beta of the Cs:Go the successor of 1.6 i hope...
Im a old pc gamer and i have a coutless hours of fun in cs in past 10 and more.
Hope this time the 1.6 become 2.0 at least and fill some minor gaps in the original game
like the unrealistic weapons espesily the snipers (WERE they saw the awp magnum sniper fires in the Hand ??? only in Cs of course)
and the lack of some skill based system and many in terms of balance Staff..

You need to pre-purchase it in order to get early access to the beta. Once you do that, the beta should show up in your library.

Me and a friend are going to be hosting 12 player servers for our friends and whatnot. Feel free to join our beta servers.
We will have a classic server and a gungame server. I'm still setting the gungame (Arms race) server up. I'll post it once I get finished.

So does anyone know why Steam would be telling me I already own the game when I am pretty damn sure I do not?
I have been in the Beta for a decent while now, but it is not telling me the beta is the duplicate copy, but the game itself.
But if you look in my Library, it only says the Beta?

So is this a mistake on Steams behalf? Or did I somehow purchase the game, not remember it, and it also is not showing up in my library?

I am leaning towards it is a mistake and I do not own it, but I definitely do not want to purchase it if I do not need to.

Been playing the beta for a week now...as much as I want to like it I just don't think it lives up to its predecessors in the CS series. Gameplay is just not as fluid as one would expect it to be. The hitbox and aiming system are abysmal imho. With some time I think the developers could make it into a great game but just isn't there yet.
