Batman Arkham City startup error..

Just got it from steam..installed it.. including Games for Windows Live but I receive this error. Saw that there a lot on b.community with this issue.. if anyone experienced this any advice is welcome.

Fatal Error Issue.: Batman Arkham City Community

Just reinstalled games for windows live, which includes the marketplace client, windows live, microsoft games for windows - LIVE redistributable, and i believe you need microsoft .net framwork 3.5 atleast but i have 4. You need to uninstall all of them and just get this http://www.xbox.com/.../downloadclient which will download and install all of them for you fresh. That is what worked for me and i have Windows vista x64 and i got batman off of steam so if you automatically get a crash report when trying to open arkham city this should probably work because the serial needs to be entered in the games for windows live in order to work i believe.

it's a Dx. missing, just install it from setup folder and you're up to go; for those that reach such errors.
