techbeck Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Tried two different carriers in 2 days and chose Verizon. Tried Sprint, but data coverage sucked where I am and Verizon is tons better. I did like Sprint's SGSII variant...great phone, thin, light weight, and screamed. Anyway, just picked up the Galaxy Nexus from Verizon and am loving it so far. Will eventually root it and all that jazz but just having fun with ICS and learning the new OS (even tho I have a tab with HC, I don't use the tab very much) Don't really like that there is no external SD slot...but the phone is 32gb internal storage and what I had on my other phones. I never went over 32gb storage so I can deal with it. Going to load up all my usual apps in the next couple of days and hopefully, no problems. GPS locked on quick and re-routed quickly as well. I've read a couple of reports about some apps crashing on ics but not gb, but these are very few and far between. Most of the big apps seem to be okay. Handcent crashed on my after I restored it from backup. Re DLed it and saw it was updated to support 4.0. So yea, some apps may crash until they are updated but Handcent is the only one so far out of the 100+ I have installed that has crashed so far.
