Question
nievac
Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. We're just stumped.
Running Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003.
A user has unread/unopened meeting appointments sitting in his inbox. Now, those appointments should be in his calendar marked as 'tentative'.
The issue is that the appointments don't appear in his calendar, unless they are opened or previewed in the preview pane.
Afaik, the sniffer process is supposed to run which is responsible for scanning the inbox and placing tentative appointments into the calendar.
I've tried:
Running Outlook with the following switches: /sniff /cleansniffer /cleanreminders
Edited the registry - AutoProcessIdleTime and AutoProcessIdleTimeMax in HKEY_Current_User/Software/Microsoft/Office/11.0/Outlook/Options/General
Process requests and Process receipts is checed on arrival
No other outlook rules are enabled
Disabled any Blackberry services (he used to be on a BB, now on iPhone with activesync)
Turned PC off and back on :D
Deleted frmcache.dat
Is there something else I can try before I recreate a new profile?
