I would go with WDC black instead of seagate. Also consider putting ssd for your os (like 100GB) it is big difference

Ok, any particular reason to go with the wdc black instead of the seagate? Just wondering as the specs of the two are almost identical, and the seek time of the seagate was actually better.

And yes, I plan on getting a SSD someday, but right now I really need the storage.

I was buying only seagates until they messed up seriously with their 7200.11 hdds. It was a big mess.

Sounds fine dude, run with it. And get a nice heatsink at some point and overclock the heck out of that sucker. If you go from 3.3-3.4 GHz to 4.6-4.8 GHz, it buys some more FPS in the heavy weight titles and it does not take much voltage.

I personally have had fewer failures with Seagates than I have with WD.

2500K is the way to go, so good call on that, the AMD setups are just so behind the times from a technical, and performance, standpoint.
