Sir Topham Hatt
I have read a little bit about Open Feint, but I am still not sure what it actually is. From what I understand, it is some code which app makers can add to their apps so you can "post on twitter" or "post on facebook" or whatever. However, if I do not have an internet connection will it stop me running the game / app? I'm not really fussed about sharing how many times I lost Cut the Rope or whatever so I'd feel better if apps didn't have this open feint thing or if there is a way to stop it communicating with the net. episode
When you load an Open Feint (or Game Center on iOS) enabled game, it was ask you to enable Open Feint. If you don't want to, just touch no.

still1
Its just like GameCentre in IOS or PSN for PS3!!! it has to be implemented by game developers... I dont use it...
Scorpus Veteran Posted February 14, 2012 Veteran Share Posted February 14, 2012 OpenFeint only communicates to their servers if you enable it, and it's disabled by default. If you don't want to see the online leaderboards or achievements you don't need to use it or enable it, and not using doesn't have any effects on the gameplay itself. I personally like OpenFeint because of the achievements that remind me of Xbox Live, but it's really not that important
