LOS ANGELES ? Police in Los Angeles have seized $100 million worth of PCP and arrested two suspects in a narcotics bust involving a major nationwide drug-trafficking ring, authorities announced Friday.

The Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Task Force (LA IMPACT) said suspects Darryl Burton and La Gina Huckaby were arrested on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Officers from LA IMPACT found packages containing gallons of PCP, or phencyclidine, in the suspect's possession at the time of their arrest. After obtaining search warrants, officers conducted raids at several homes and storage facilities, where approximately 130 gallons of PCP was located -- enough to produce around 10 million individual doses of the drug, at $10 each.

Officers also seized $389,000 in cash, two assault weapons and further chemicals capable of making another 500 gallons of PCP, the interagency taskforce said in a statement.

"They were shipping and moving and dealing a huge amount of product," Lt. Scott Fairfield said. "It's the largest PCP seizure I've ever heard of."

Darn. . .that's a lot of high going away. What is really sad is the fact that if not caught these two would or could have brough about the death of a great many people. Also to even think of people under the age of eighteen who would have tried this crap.

May they rot in "Hell."

While I whole heartedly agree with your sentiments, this is kinda like piracy, they will just find the stuff elsewhere, for all those people under the age of 18 "out there", anguish and death still awaits! I wouldn't hesitate to add, I am pretty sure the scum bags will end up in the clink for quite a while!

its not at all like piracy. It will be harder to find, and more expensive for a good amount of time

What don't you get about "kinda" it was just a simple analogy that all!! You seriously should not get your knickers in a knot over a small comparison. Why don't you find one for me then? Analogy that is!
