OS X Lion with SSD Drive

Im about to get me a SSD drive for my Mac, wishing to know after i have installed and want to point folders to HD, Do i just use the "Make Alias" option or is there a better way to do this. In windows i used MKLINK what would be a same for OS X or is it just the "Make Alias" option.

The best way is to use the SSD for the installation of OS X and all your apps. Use your HD to store media files, music, pictures, videos, ect. Using symbolic links (as mentioned above) you can map many of the home folders to your HD. This makes the whole process quite seamless.

Thats pretty much it. I believe TRIM support is automatically enabled in Lion. So sit back and enjoy your speedy machine.
