Two Knoxville men are facing charges in Oak Ridge, after officers stopped them near the Y-12 National Security Complex with ingredients for a suspected mobile meth lab.

Officers stopped the car at a security checkpoint at the gate after spotting some suspicious items inside it.

The driver, 20-year-old Donnie Martineau, and passenger, 26-year-old Shane Martineau, gave Oak Ridge police permission to search the car. Officers found about 30 items consistent with the production of methamphetamine.

Officers say Shane Martineau gave them a fake i-d, and he had a container with a pill inside which he identified as meth.

They also found a pair of brass knuckles connected to Donnie Martineau's belt.

Officers arrested both men on charges of initiation of meth manufacture.

Shane Martineau also is charged with criminal impersonation and possession of schedule ii narcotics for resale.

Donnie Martineau is charged with possession of an illegal weapon.
