[OS X] Program to save frequently used code snippets?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if you guys could recommend a program to hold frequently-used code snippets? I want one where I can put a title on a snippet like "TableView code" or "Show a new nib", click it, then it presents the code.

I didn't put this under the programming section because I figured there might be a program out there that does this kind of thing but isn't necessarily intended for use with code.

I use Xcode, but I guess that wouldn't really matter.

Thanks for the suggestions, everybody!

There's a feature like that built into Coda that uses tab completion... but as a stand alone program, I don't know of one. I usually save code in Evernote for future reference.

I decided to give Evernote a try. Seems to be doing the job well enough

I'm thinking about giving CodeBox a go, seems like a good app, the only downside to it is the $9.99 price tag >.> http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/codebox/id412536790?mt=12

Thanks for the suggestion! I had seen it on the MAS when it first opened up, but hadn't looked at it since then. It's really evolved at lot.
