iPad 3 Concept Features

The part where they connect the 2 "iPads" together and the video becomes wider makes no sense. The video doesn't magically get more information in it ;) It would probably just try to use the new resolution as best as possible

Edge to edge amoleds would be amazing. And, on a side note: COMICS SAAAANS!

Never in a hundred years. How would you hold it ?

If you held it like an iPad 2, you would hit the touch screen all the time at places you don?t want to.

Not going to happen. In the video, the dude is touching the screen with his hands. That would count as a touch and cause issues.

Now I heard rumors Samsung is working on a edge to edge phone. That would be cool as there is no need to touch the screen in the hand you are holding hte phone because of the size.

I missed the size/holding detail when writing that, but an edge to edge amoled phone running something like ICS where the system buttons are hardware rather than software would be really cool. Maybe having a dead zone for holding a tablet would work.

Not if it had recognition capabilities to know your palm/fingers were constantly on it, then it could ignore that input.

Exactly. All the modern OS have the ability to detect the 'accidental touches', and thus ignore them. Including iOS.

Anyone talking about holding it and so on... Come on, that could so easily be coded for. Recognise an edge area of like 1inch, if contact is within that area and not swiping, assume it's being held. Very cursory, but it could be expanded to be a real use.

Not that it matters, these are 100% fake. But still...
