It's easier to assume the FBI are the bad guys that give them the benefit of doubt, since we all know that all forms of Policing are corrupt and are always arresting innocent people while criminals are free to do whatever they want

believe me, the law on this kinda stuff is so many years behind, people get arrested and prosicuted for "possession" when its simply downloaded into the cache, i.e a website pops up, it is a horrible C.P site and it downloads, its clocked by the police and thats it, u get done, even when its proven u were on it for 2/3 seconds and didnt have access at all....

The only place on the internet I know where you come in contact with real nasty CP is 4chan. And that site is pure filth anyway

People are abusing their Rights left and right and hoping that just by saying "I'm sorry" or saying "it was just a joke" is an excusable to hold the right to be inhumane while appear innocent. This conduct is unwelcome in this day and age.

An other example of illicite behavior also extend its arm deep into the government business. Calling someone a "slut" and a "prostitude" for a few days while his supporter didn't condemn him, gave him the boosted support to continue with political defamation. This is NOT A RIGHTS! It's illegal. There should be a law that govern these types of bully.

It is certainly possible, as I stated earlier in the thread. It all depends on the specific definition of CP in your jurisdiction. Some anime images can be considered CP in certain places, as can an image of a UK Page 3 girl if she's under 18 (since in the UK, topless models can be 16, but not in the US). Even non-sexual images from a European topless or nude beach can sometimes be considered CP by police in the US, if they include anyone under 18.

Everyone has the freedom to do whatever he pleases, right? But you don't go around doing all that you can do to others. When your actions affects others, it becomes an offense. You can strip yourself naked but you don't have the right to do that on the streets. You can say whatever but it must be in the comfort of your own home. But when all that is imposing or incur on someone else, then your rights are limited. An attack, whether it's visible or not, it's still an attack.

I've had to deal with this already, had a HTTP Proxy setup on my WAN to bypass the filters at work, I can only assume somebody found it and misused it, a few weeks later the police are banging on my door and taking my Servers, iMacs, MacBook, iPad, PS3, XBOX360, Nintendo DS, PSP, Sky box... everything except my Time Machine Hard Drive which they thought was a 'Modem' after 8 hours in police custody and waiting 2 years to get my equipment back they found nothing except a thumbnail from 4chan. So let me be the first to say 'F*** the Police'. This cost me about ?12,000 to replace all the equipment that was taken for absolutely NO reason. Thankfully I was found to be completely innocent on all charges but unfortunately did lose my Job at the time when the Police asked to take my Work Computer...

I would say you brought this problem on yourself. Had you not broken company rules, none of this would have happened.

It is flawed when you apply that towards oppinions and critics you have on others. But it is not when it is extreme attacks. The person who's saying an extreme remark about kids are way way off the norm. This is why there's moderator for this forum. It serve that same reason. You can't allow such an attack and assult to be in the joke catagory. You have to draw the line somewhere. This was an attack on kids that have no way of defending themselves. And here you are trying to use a whim logic to support such action. I find that very hard to understand.

No whim logic, just logic. Yours is flawed. You can not hold real life to how a forum is ruled. Both completly different things. By your logic, most comedians would be thrown in jail.
