Duffydemon Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Yesterday i installed lion ( fresh install ) on my hackintosh, used multi beast to install other drivers, everything worked after reboot, but sound is not working, weird thing is that OS is detecting my sound card ( ALC889 ) but when i plugin my headphone, sound isn't coming, which is odd because it worked perfectly in snow leopard. i have tried all jacks and sound is still not working, any ideas? Miuku. Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 So just you know, I don't support Hackintosh in any way but what motherboard do you have? I tried HDA rollback ( which basically use SL drivers ), but it didnt work, my card is recognized, only problem is no sound is coming out of my headphone.
