Here's some simple facts about PDC... Yes a build of Longhorn will be released to the attendees on the 26th of October. I understand that it is a popular download, but it remains an Alpha and as such there are support and registration issues to work out before we can make an alpha-quality-level download available to half a million subscribers. This is definitely something that we're working on for our customers, but I don't want to set an expectation that we'll start providing the download during the PDC keynote.
