Because an erection is a physiological response, just like some women who are raped have orgasms during the attack - which increases their post-event depression even more.

Female-on-male rape happens a LOT more often than you'd think, and it's way under-reported. Often it's a larger woman on a small man or adolescent or a woman with a weapon (often a knife), but a group of women can also attack a larger man.

Bottom line is today's women can be just as violent and depraved as men, and sometimes worse.

If you were not in the mood, or comfortable with the situation, you would not 'pre-emptively' get an erection from the phychological excitement, but when your prostate is manually stimulated, then you would then be erect, whether you like it or not, or enjoying it or not, or are in a lot a pain. Regardless of this you would physically become erect because you do not need to be erect in advance before the actual penetration starts to become erect after the fact that you are already having sex

Precisely, and even prostate stimulation isn't necessary under certain circumstances - just direct stimulation. A great example would be during sleep whem males routinely have erections during certain parts of the sleep cycle. Then you are running on auto-pilot and easily stimulated to erection.

If this gal broke in at night and started in on him while he was sleeping he could have been been stimulated to erection, then he awoke to discover the assault.

Believe me erection generally happen by pure stimulation, although they may not be as strong as a mentally activated one sometimes. When I am performing catheter care or cleaning an uncircumcised male they most of the time get erections. Ask any male nurses assistant, you will get a similar story.
