site aligns left in internet explorer

Hello Neowin people,

I am working on a website and everything is working except in Internet Explorer. For some reason it decides to display the content to the left while the other browsers center in nicely. I've tried all the possible methods: text-align:center in body, margin etc.

It also has a doctype.
