Downtown isn't too bad as patrols are heavy there because of the theater district, stafiums, Cobo Hall and the casinos. What''s scrary is just ourside of downtown, especially in and around the Cass Corridore and the semi-abandoned neighborhoods. There the weak and/or unarmed are at high risk.

I think that the scariest place in the USA would be where you are if you commit a felony when DocM is around.

To me it has to be Worth Ave. in Palm Beach. The amount of money on that street being spent on a daily basis is truly frightening.

Defenitely, the scariest place in the US is NY, especifically, Times Square... Have you seen the prices of a hotel there?! SCARY!

Pffft downtown Detroit is awesome (I work there). Once you get away from downtown it can get shady but I've never had any issues. Plus they have stuff like urban exploring (photographing/checking out abandoned buildings), a friend and I went to some areas to photograph graffiti, stuff like that. It's a turdle!

I wonder if the google street view people had to have armored cars for thier jobs in Detroit.
