There's always that golden oldie from your childhood that never goes away, and you watch year after year. Or your favourite film you just can't get enough of.

I'm gonna have to say, The Goonies & Matrix 1 are possibly the first choice.

So what movie do you know word for word? (or near enough)

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. My brothers and I used to play out the whole movie (only vocally).
Raising Arizona (at least most of it; the funniest movie I've ever seen.)

Probably V for Vendetta. It's my favorite film, and the dialogue has just stuck with me.

Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny is pretty close, though as far as the dialogues go, it's got kind of an unfair advantage of being a musical

At one point I knew a good bit of that speech, but definitely not the entire thing. If I find myself with some time to waste I might try and memorize it though, just in case I ever need to spontaneously begin a vendetta. :p

i would have to say tho been while but i used to be able to have every peace of dialog from Stephen kings Christine done by john carpenter i even wrote the whole movie out for fun @ School back in the day

some of my favorite lines tho i will post from imdb are.

George LeBay: My ******* brother bought her back in September '57. That's when you got your new model year, in September. Brand-new, she was. She had the smell of a brand-new car. That's just about the finest smell in the world, 'cept maybe for PussyCat < had to Add Cat so would not get *******

Will Darnell: [to Dennis] I knew a guy had a car like that once. Fucin' ****** killed himself in it. Son of a bitch was so mean, you could've poured boiling water down his throat and he would've ****ed ice cubes!
[to Arnie]

Will Darnell: Ya know Pepper, ya can't polish a turd.

Mr Creosote and the wafer-thin mint is one of my favourite scenes ever.
"Ohh sir, it's only wafer thin!"
