Fox is jumping on the early renewal bandwagon, ordering a fourth season of Glee, a second season of New Girl and a third season of Raising Hope.

“Over the past season, New Girl has become the hottest new appointment series for young adults; Raising Hope has established itself as one of the smartest and most unique offbeat comedies on television; and Glee has continued its success as a genre-defying, global cultural phenomenon,” said Fox president Kevin Reilly. “All three of these comedies add a fresh and distinctive flavor to our Tuesday nights, and I’m really happy to bring them back to our air next season.”

Still no word on the fate of bubble series Fringe, Touch, Alcatraz, Breaking In and The Finder.

Let Fringe have it's final season after the current one.

The two I've watched, Touch and Alcatraz are awful. Wouldn't care if they got canned.

As much as I like Glee if they cancel Alcatraz and Fringe over Glee I'm gonna cut someone.

Unfortunately, shows like Glee, New Girl and Raising Hope are much cheaper to produce than a show like Fringe. There is no special effects, and the amount they pay the actors is less. If one of the kids on Glee started demanding more money, just have them be hit by a truck and kill them off. Can't really do that on Fringe, as the story depends too much on the central characters.

Fringe has made some changes that has alienated some of it's previous fan base. I think it would have been better to have never had this whole alternate reality story line. It just seems like they don't really have much of a plan for the show anymore. One week we have an episode where they investigate a fringe type case, and don't mention anything about the overall story line at all, and then they will get back to the main story line and the cycle goes on. I much prefer the one-off shows where they investigate a case and complete it at the end. They have fallen into the same trap that X-Files did.

Have to disagree on Fringe there. The underlining main plot is always there instead of just a monster or case of the week which only stays good so long, X-Files being an example. I think that's why I enjoy it so much, it's going somewhere with the story and characters and when both parts, especially the latter are so great to watch, I'm a happy viewer. The writers have an end which they can do next season if allowed so I would like to see how it pans out. If anything, I think they are trying to spend less money so they get another season. There isn't much merchandise compared to Glee for example so it must be a hard sell along with the target audience compared to Raising Hope.

The New girl has become a real hit imo, it started off weird but then OMG I cant stop laughing at this show. Hope has always made me laugh and I am glad to see it around for another season. Glee....die already! lol

As long as it gets a proper ending i don't mind. But if it ends like TSCC i'm gonna be mad.

I hope so, even if its only a short cable series style mini-series.

Shame I was hoping that Raising Hope was going to be canceled so I could have one less show to watch. Think i may just stop watching it anyway.

Well since the last two episodes of this series are called End Game (1 & 2) I'm guessing this is the last series.

it's a chance to wrap it up just incase...most series have a contingency plan incase of non renewal
