You people should really speak with your dollars here, you're buying their product and they treat their consumer base like trash. Is that the kind of respect anyone should give to others?

I would never support the publishers for this kind of behavior.

That's a shame. They're one of the companies that, up until a couple months ago, I would have least expected to go beast mode on a fan. Plenty of other companies have sent much friendly notices to people that were accidentally in violation, not sure why Bethesda couldn't.

What about pardoy and satire? It could tarnish a brands IP, but it is entirely legal to send up companies, products and even individuals.

Also, fan fiction is legal. I think a lot of these companies way over estimate how much stuff like this damages their brands.
