SCHAEFFERSTOWN, PA (WHTM) -- A Lebanon County man is facing charges for attempting to break into the U.S. Post Office in Schaefferstown.

State police in Jonestown said 19-year-old Chaz Nathan Light smashed several door handles with a sledgehammer at around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

Light, a Schaefferstown resident, was trying to get into the post office to obtain a package he had ordered from online, police said. The package contained what investigators suspect to be bath salts and synthetic marijuana.

Police said Light admitted to the crime and was charged with attempted burglary.
