Im pretty sure the release date was the 27th for here right?

I've been in stores for every single network the UK has, in multiple cities and asked about it. And in the stores none of the salesmen had heard of it, and nothing showed up in the computer logs.

Are we definitely getting the Lumia 900?

I saw that, however as my contract with O2 expired months ago, I'd like to try and get a better deal with them in-store. When I asked the carriers why Phones4U was advertising Lumia 900 Contracts with their networks, I was met with a uniform shoulder shrug and "I didn't know they are, and as far as I know, shouldn't be"

Will Microsoft sell unlocked Lumia 900's on their online store? This might be an easier option.

It looks like the Lumia 900 has been delayed in the UK because of demand in the US

If your contact has run out, switch to a sim only month by month contract now and save a few bob, my saving is £15 a month and if you ever see a deal you want you can jump on it.

On the rolling month I get tethering free which is a £5 add on if you are on contract

If you are buying the 900 def go with a sim only deal, so much better in the long run.

You can get it even better then that, If your on o2, and want to/don't mind stay with them, get on the 12 month sim only, drops the price another £5 (so I pay £10.50 for 300mins unlimited txt's).
But the 12month plan has an any time upgrade option...so when a phone you want comes out, you just say I wanna upgrade to that and away you go...the only reason to go with the 1 month rolling is if you have plans to leave your network.

But yeah May 14th seems to be the new date. http://www.techradar...-may-14-1077607
