Cleaning Up The Milky Milky

Recommended Posts

Clean up crews in Switzerland had to visit a real Milky Way when a tanker overturned - sending 6,000 litres of milk onto the road at Sils and into the nearby Albula river.

The tanker with trailer had been travelling along the Schinstrasse heading towards Thusis in the Canton of Graubuenden when it overturned on a sharp left-hand curve and hit the crash barrier.

The trailer was so badly damaged that it broke open, spilling 6,000 of the 9,000 liters of milk inside onto the road and into the river.

The road was closed for an hour in both directions after the accident but experts said the milk was not a danger to the local environment or the river - which turned cloudy but was otherwise unaffected as the milk washed away.

"the milk was not a danger to the local environment or the river "

Why would it be a danger? It's milk.

Lactose intolerant animals lmao.

Milk can contain lots of bacteria, esp. raw milk.

But I assume the water would dilute it.
