Steven P. Administrators Posted April 27, 2012 Administrators Share Posted April 27, 2012 Bit of an odd question maybe, but I'm looking for an advertiser for NeoGamr that offers brand page advertising (use of the page left and right to advertise a game or something). We have the room for this type of advertising and it doesn't bother me when I see it on other sites, in fact I think it's one of the better forms of advertising. Anyway, hopefully someone can recommend me a good gaming advertiser without going into the ethics of why we need it :p EpicGameAds turned me down, apparently they are only looking for Arcade type sites at the moment. We are using AdSense there at the moment (and no we still won't allow popups or popunders on NeoGamr, just like Neowin).

NeoGamr is a part of Neowin. :p Yes, I perfectly know that NeoGamr is part of Neowin and that Neobond is the boss, like said :) I might have tried to make my post cleared. My apoligies :) What I ment is that if it is against the rules for members, Neobond technically is also a member. Why should you, Neobond, be allowed to make a topic where most (if not all) members would be warned and the topic closed? I mean the topic I dont have any problem with; General OK question. I just think you shouldnt break the rules and you should lead by example :) On topic, I hope you get a great deal even though I never really saw the reasoning behind NeoGamr. The point is, it's his site, both NeoGamr and Neowin are the same site, and this thread is asking for recommendations for it, since it's a new launch and a new part of Neowin as a whole. It's the same as The Verge asking for a good advertiser for one of their sister sites for example. I would relucantly say that the rules aren't being broken here, since it's asking for community feedback on the new site and suggestions for it. metallithrax
Um these types of posts (looking for a ad partner for a 3rd party site) arent allowed on Neowin right? :/ I see nothing in the rules against this, and why would there be? If I had a site and wanted an advertising partner for it, why would it hurt this site (neowin) for people to give me advice on the matter.
