Who cares if it's a copy? Smash Bros is a great game.

Well Nintendo might care I guess lol

Have you played games recently?

Pick any game and you can guarantee there will be at least 2-3 games that are very similar.

One thing consoles don't have a lot of are fighting games, I welcome a Smash Brothers style game with Sony characters.

Yeah no kidding, I don't get all the hate. They act like this is the first time a similar idea has been used for a game when the whole industry is full of copies of various games. If this is what Playstation fans have been asking for then who cares, let them enjoy it. I don't see why so many people seem to be getting their panties in a twist over this.

Can't say I'm personally all that excited as I've never enjoyed SSB to begin with, but I know tons of people have been waiting for this game.

*raises an eyebrow* Street Fighter 4 AE (Not the newest game but still probably the most played out of all the fighting games.), UMVC3, Soul Cal V, Mortal Kombat (Though the online for that one is pretty dead tbh), King of Fighters XIII, Street Fighter X Tekken, Skullgirls are some fairly recent ones and aside from MK they all get played online bit quite a few people. They also released SF3 Third Strike Online last year, and that's good stuff too.

Anyway ... Maybe I'm spoiled by all the hardcore fighting games that have come out in the last year/year and a half, and I haven't played Smash Bros in several years, but this game doesn't look great to me. As someone else said the white character outlines looks ... odd. It looks like someone did a really bad job of cutting out characters and pasting them into the backgrounds in the stills. Heh. Also not really a fan of how the backgrounds look. I'll try it, but I'm not expecting much.

I have a feeling Snake (or one variation of him) will be in this.

Compared to FPS, Driving games and RPGs, Fighting Games are under represented.

You seemed to have missed the part where I said I won't ever be picking this up as I've never gotten into fighting games.

I couldn't care less if this game bombs to be honest, I just don't see why people are crying that it's a copy when SSB wasn't even the first fighting game to introduce 4 person combat (though it did bring it to the mainstream).
