Hey everyone!

I just dual booted Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 on my computer. The install went great! However, I have a Logitech G110 Keyboard and G500. The Keyboard types an the mouse moves just fine. However, the keyboard lights up blue (I have it set to red) and the G keys do not work. On the mouse, none of the more advanced buttons work. Everything works fine in Windows 7 (After I installed the Software of coarse)I google a bit and I found that I have to compile code to the kernel (If I'm understanding it correctly) and I really don't want to do that for obvious reasons. Are there native either closed/open source driver that will make everything work? Can I run the software in WINE?Is anyone else reading having problems with their lighted keyboards/mice? Am I just SOL?

Thank you for your help!

Have you tried selecting the option Additional Drivers, the System Settings menu. Sometimes this shows up alternative drivers.

Good luck.

Just download Virtualbox on Windows 7 and run Ubuntu in it. I don't dual boot since it is such a waste of space since Linux creates its own partition and when you download stuff on the Linux partition it takes up the Windows partition.
