Expectations are set low for me, the 360 is on it's last year so I don't think there's much left to do with it. If that one rumor of a smaller, media centric/arcade only version for some low price comes true that'd be cool.

Even if the Xbox 3 comes out end of next year, we still have the rest of 2012, and all of 2013 to get through. I imagine they have SOME games that are coming out in that time frame.

Well ya, but I don't think anything to get people going other than Halo 4 and whatever Crytek does. But who knows? Maybe there's something hidden in there. Still I'm pretty sure next years E3 should be the big one with news of the next Xbox coming out.

yeah, i think GP is right. MS and Sony suffer from lazyitis. keep your expectations low this E3, there won't be much to talk about. i wouldn't be surprised if half of it will be about Windows Phone somehow.

Windows Phone stuff would be more interesting to me than more casual kinect stuff like last year. I'm down for some more 360 and WP integration/cross-platform play. Some think MS could talk about Windows 8 a bit as well, but I dunno.

Wasn't there a rumour kicking about that Windows Phone 8 would be announced at E3?

EDIT: Ah, I just read that WP8 is expected to be announced at the developer conference in June.

Amen to that. I won't watch any news for the week before, in-case of a risk of reading about a Halo 4 Leak, like last time.

Actually the rumour was for Windows 8 RP going out at E3 cuz MS has said first week of June etc. They might tease some WP8 game stuff at E3 but we'll have to wait for the big demos at their developer conference.

Still, I think it's telling, WP8 dev conference after Win8 RP (and probably near final Win8 SDK) goes out, which probably means rumors of WinRT being the next dev platform on the phone are looking more and more true. Not that I had any doubt though, we all know SL and XNA are on the way out.

yeah i guess Win Phone 8 stuff would be nice, better hardware, so finally some decent games. i mean i love my WP7 device, but it is rather low spec compared to Android. and we don't have any FPS titles available.
