Just browsing around the internet and found some awesome icons in the link below. Maybe this is what you need to further your Windows 8 experience or maybe you want to add some Metro flair to your Windows 7 Desktop? Hats off to the guy that made these. Check them out!

Nice! I had some metro icons (I believe the pack was called metrostation or something like that), but there wasn't so many of them. I'll give these a try.

I changed nearly all the icons in my taskbar and restarted explorer.exe, however only 2 of the icons have actually updated, the rest remain the old ones.

It is necessary to clear and rebuild the icon cache:
