It's been going down slightly, but it's taking quite a while (still $3.80ish here).
Being that oil is trading at $94, prices should be under $3.00. Gotta love that speculation.

Though I think we follow the rule of:
If oil prices go up, we see it the very next day.
If oil prices do down, we don't see it until 3 weeks later.

It's down about $0.20 - $0.25 / gallon in the last week or two. (Charlotte, NC USA) I am surprised, I didn't expect it to go down again. Thankfully, last I put gas in the car was about two months ago. :) Gotta love working from home and having the gym and most stores I need within walking distance.

up where i am in Scotland were paying £1.34 a Litre (gone down 4p a llitre). And that's in the city, outside of the city its anything between £1.43-£1.49 a Litre.
As you say most of us cant really afford to keep filling the car up, its a luxury these days having a biggish car. Im £80 everytime I fill from empty to full and get 350 miles out of that if im lucky!

Could buy a smaller car, but I looove my 97 Saab 900Se Cabrio (2.3l 16v)

Here, 87 octane was under $4 a gallon a few weeks ago but is now up to around $4.30.
And I'm in the Elsinore/Temecula area of southern California.

Gas prices are driven by greed, no more, no less, if you look at the actual costs of drilling and refining plus shipping its total highway robbery.

Ours has gone down from £1.47 a litre to £1.39 a litre, but that's probably because the fuel strikes are over.

I've noticed around 2-3p decrease in fuel. But usually I don't pay much attention to fuel, it's one of those things I have to have, so not much point looking
