Cradle Point MBR95 (3G/4G Wireless router)

The Cradle point MBR95 Wireless N router is designed to allow the user to connect a USB 3G/4G modem as a ?Backup? Network connection for Internet access. I have set these devices up in several locations over the past several months and prior to my first installation I had never heard of the device.

Even though the 3G/4G connection is designed as a backup you can very easily use it as your primary connection. This can come in handy if you want to connect multiple machines (with an Ethernet cable or wirelessly) through a USB Dongle.

The Cradlepoint MBR95 Runs very well and has one of the most robust micro website firmware I have ever seen on a router. The device is very simple to setup and remarkably stable. With approximately 4 months of use we have only power cycled once and it was due to a printer error not internet access.

The device itself feels very flimsy to the touch and is made of cheap plastic, and should be placed in an area with good airflow as they tend to get a bit warm.

Overall we have not had any issues with these devices and they run Very well for what we use them for. We connection between 3 to 10 computers both wirelessly and wired to a 3G/4G card for internet connection.

I would give the device an easy 4 out of 5

The device runs an average of $120 USD
