Question
sathenzar
Hello everyone. I'm pretty proficient in C# and I'd now like to transition to java. I barrowed many books from a friend that I'm going to start tackling this weekend. I've already done a little research so here are my questions. Are there different versions of java? I see java netbeans and java EE2 or something like that, is that like WinForms and WPF? For andriod progamming is there like an API for java to program for andriod phones or can java be compiled and used in andriod phones as is? Can you get a custom compiler for visual studio or do you have to use Eclipse?
