I'm looking to reward a deserving member of the Neowin community (who is not already a subscriber) with a free Tier-1 subscription.

How do you win?

Easy! Post in this thread describing why you think you deserve a free subscription. After the contest closes, I'll choose a deserving Neowin member.

When does the contest end?

May 31st at 11:59PM EST.

How do you get the subscription?

I will contact the staff with your username and then send the payment for the subscription via PayPal to Neowin.

Who can enter?

Anybody that is not already a subscriber, and who is registered prior to the posting of this contest.

Is this sanctioned by Neowin?

No. This is not an official Neowin contest. It is something I am running and paying for out of my own pocket because I love Neowin and want to support it.

I don't understand the benefits or point of "subscribing" besides that you show your support for Neowin to help with the costs (and longer editing time). The rest of the benefits aren't that attractive to me. Been here since 2005 but never a subscriber.
